Help!
In this unprecedented, one time only offer, I am giving you the opportunity of a lifetime! Although I pointed out yesterday that you must subscribe to my Premium On Demand Package in order to question or criticize me, I am going to make an exception this once. I need your help in determining which post I should enter in a Humor Essay contest. I’ve culled through my 173 posts so far, and come up with the sadly short list below of possibilities. If any of them seem humorous, could you please vote for it? Also, I have given you the option to fill in your own comment. You could use this to make your own post suggestion, or you could use it to question or criticize me. I will take your comments under careful consideration.
Why, you may ask, would you want to fill in my silly form instead of just entering a comment below? Well, because if you fill in the form, you will be rewarded with the name of the contest I am entering. I think this is highly selfless of me, since you will probably want to then enter the contest yourself. Or, you could just call it a bribe.
Here are direct links to the chosen few in case you would like to review them:

No contest entry – just enjoyed reading the posts.
Thank you so much for your input!
This was difficult because I find many of your post hilarious but the Jedi one is an all time favorite one of mine! Good luck with the contest!
Thanks, Bassa! I always appreciate your comments!
That was a really hard decision because they are all so good. I was tossing up between Advice on Interior Design and Who do you Think Pulls the Sleigh? (love the last line!!!) However, And With Also You just gets my vote every time – it’s a cracker of a post.
Thank you so much for helping me out!
I completely agree. I laughed out loud many times reading And With Also You. That’s the one!
I love to hear that. Thanks, Sarah!
That was a hard decision. Good luck.
Thanks. They only do this contest every two years, and you can only enter one piece, so the pressure is on!
It is hard to pick. You have a lot of great stuff.
You are so kind. Especially for an Ultimate Fighting Champion. 😉
My favorite is Who Pulls the Sleigh! Good luck with the contest!
Rumpy, I appreciate you weighing in on this. Everybody’s comments have been very helpful!
Who Pulls the Sleigh is my favorite. I just love the ending.
Thanks, Bongo. It’s always good to get the canine point of view 😉
As a kid, parochial school (and catholism0 completely confused me…so I vote for “And Also With You.”
No wait, I changed my mind after I re-read “Who Pulls The Sleigh” – I loved that one – and you don’t have to worry about some nun doing the judging and holding it against you.
Good point! I’m still scared of those nuns…
I voted for Advice on Interior Design! You have a great chance of winning!! 🙂
Thank you! That’s the Cap’n’s favorite, too!
and with also you – hands down. as a womb catholic, former catholic, present catholic, future catholic, and most importantly lazy catholic i found that hilarious. although, it was very hard to vote. i laughed with all of them. GOOD LUCK and i am sure you will keep us “posted.”
Thank you. If I knew there was a lazy catholic denomination I would have joined long ago. Where do they meet? Oh, uh, I guess they probably don’t. I’d fit right in, then!
“And With Also You” was one of the earliest posts I read from you and hands down is my favorite! As for your contest – May the Force be with you.
You I thank!
I’ll always remember the Latin version of my fave of your posts…
et cum spiritu tuo is the Latin response to the phrase my Dad always liked “Dominoes and biscuits” and we say: et cum spiritu tuo… if you want I’ll provide translation… but I did PollDaddy the post to which this refers… I almost flipped my lid when I saw there was an “other” option – it was hard enough to vote using just your shortlist!!! best of luck!!!
🙂
Thanks for helping out, BuddhaKat!
