I also try my best to look nobly emaciated so I will get more food, but it doesn’t work for me either!! No fair.
People are foisting food upon me all of the time. If I shared it with Wonderbutt, I would be half my size and he would be twice his.

If you kept Wonderbutt full then maybe he wouldn’t eat yoga mats? Poor guy, I know how that feels to still be hungry after eating my full meal. It seems to happen to me a lot lately.
I hope he’s not pregnant, too!

He has actually lost weight, but it’s a bit difficult to tell since he still has man boobs.

I’m new to your blog so I’m not totally up to speed on Wonderbutt and his machinations. But it looks like Mrs. P.I.B totally has his number. 🙂
Mrs. P.I.B. is very passive/aggressive. Wonderbutt has no subtlety whatsoever.
seriously? how can that bulldog be so damn cute??? i don’t even LIKE dogs and he’s killing me.
He has perfected the sad face, that’s for sure.
He’s adorable, so is Mrs PIB. My cat does the same thing. Her bowl will be full but not up to the top so she’ll beg for more. If we give her more and my mom is eating a turkey or chicken sandwich she’ll eat some of her food and then come beg for turkey or chicken. She’ll try to look skinny, but she is one fat cat!
Mrs. P.I.B. does that with her food bowl, too. I think she wants “fresh” food, not what was left over from the morning.
They both are adorable and I am wondering how you can possibly say no to that adorable little face? I am a big dog lover and have two dogs of my own, Zeus and Lucky. Wonderbutt just thinks he’s wasting away, doesn’t he?! My dog is the same way, she’s starving – fit and starving.
He believes he is thoroughly neglected. Ever since we took away his main food source, the carpeting, he has been depressed.
Wonderbutt certainly has mastered “the look,” the look that says “I’m starving.” Looks like that cutie could live off the fat of the land for a week or two. Both babies are glorious. Keep their stories coming. I’m loving every word.
Oh poor Wonderbutt – how can they starve you like that? My dog plays the same game with anyone who has dog treats on them when we are walking. I keep being asked if I feed her, or simply wait for the walk so that others will.
LOL…. poor wonderbutt….. We laughed when we saw Mrs. Pib laying with her back legs like that. We had only one collie who did that and it was Anya. We saw her in the pic and it sure brought back memories of Anya…. Great post…. we can relate for our collies eat half their food and then rotate dishes.. except li Hallie who stays with hers… takes her time and relishes each bite driving the others crazy! LOL
