WhatIMeant2 Tell You About Me

I am a forty-something mother and teacher living in San Antonio, Texas.  Despite the fact that I have a blog, I hate giving personal details about myself, so you will just have to fill in the blanks with your imagination.

  1. I loved it!!!! I want to read more .

From a forty something person that should always stay in the car and not get out no matter what. (Crash) PS I always thought that kids who wore flipflops in winter had bad parents who should be reported. That changed when my daughter started doing it and i thought thank goodness she is not dressed in goth along with it.

  2. Haha! I know, I think of myself as a guarded person, too. I’m not so sure anymore. 🙂

  3. hahahahaha! Me too! I started this blog about a month ago and the About section has some lame-butt hmmmming going on. I’m very private and my blog is public. Ummmm….

Maybe the terrorists spiked my toasted almonds or soy milk and I forget who I am?

Do keep writing! The world needs your perspective.

  4. Kay at Blue Speckled Pup

I’m a 29 year old teacher in Alberta, Canada, and I love your bulldog! I’ll be back to read more.

    Kay

  5. I completely understand the separation anxiety. Our oldest lab has had absentee destruction issues since day one. Good luck.

  6. I just visited San Antonio for the first time a couple months ago. Man, was it hot! I don’t know how you do it.

  7. critters and crayons

You’re in San Antonio? I’m in Laredo? I know. Don’t be hatin’. 🙂 We should do a blogger lunch the next time I have to run up there to hit Whole Foods. haha! Seriously- you’re funny, woman!

  8. TheIdiotSpeaketh

I’m a forty-something idiot who used to live in San Antonio…… I might have have bumped into you on the street at some point. If you ever got bowled over by some huge gray haired idiot…. that was probably me! 🙂

  9. I’m a fifty-something who lives in Houston. What is this, a Texas thing? 🙂 I started out as a very private person, but blogging is teaching me how to be less guarded. Thanks for visiting my blog today. Looks like I will find some material on your blog to make me smile!

  10. No way! It is amazing how many things we are willing to reveal on our blog when we think no one knows who we are, right?

  11. TheIdiotSpeaketh

    Award Time!

    Congrats!

  12. Laughed out loud reading your posts today!

  13. Enjoy your blog and reading about Wonderbutt! I just recently, ‘retired’ from teaching elementary. I am now teaching my own kids. Not sure which is scarier. 😉

  14. In my case, it would be teaching my own. And not just because of the income reduction!

  15. Miranda Gargasz

I am usually a guarded person, but on my blog all is fair game except like SSN’s or phone numbers or addresses….hmmm, maybe I only guard numbers? Either way, as a full time teacher, I totally understand your desire to keep all personal info private. Parents/students/employers can do some scary crap with all that.

  16. Love your blog, sooo funny! looking forward to reading more

  17. Just read your blog and loved it. I too hate revealing my personal info. Oddly enough I too live in Texas. You seem to appeal to mysterious people who love the heat!

  18. I am passing along the Tell Me About Yourself Award to you. I have created a permanent page for this award. Please reference the link for the rules.
